Family Reunion at Island Park!! (Day 1)

This weekend we had our family reunion with Tommy's side of the family. We went to Isand Park. It was so fun!! Here are some pictures of one of our many boat rides in Tom's boat.

Here are a few slide shows from our boat ride! Troy decided to take the boat for a few cookies while the kids were sitting in the back. It was so funny! Braxton got the worst of it, but he and TJ both were completely soaked by the time we got back to shore. They were ALL freezing!






After playing at the beach, off of Bill's Island, for a while, we went back to camp and went swimming in the pool there. Here are a few pictures that I took there. I didn't get any of Myself, Troy, Anna, Trey or any of Jade or Crystal's families. My camera kept getting splashed, so I only got a few pictures.



Ok. So here's a funny story for you. After we swam and got cleaned up and had dinner, we were all sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows, when we heard this really loud strange noise. We all sat and tried to figure out what the noise was and the only thing we could come up with was either a bear or a moose. We even went up and looked over the hill by our campsite to see if we could see anything. All the while, our nerves were getting more on edge, just talking about it. A few minutes later, we had all settled back down and were talking around the campfire again, when all of the sudden..... we heard the noise again. Only this time, it was much closer and louder. My sister-in-law jumped up and said, "Holy @&%*, I'm getting out of here," and she ran into the camper. After seeing that a quick chain reaction happened and almost everyone was in the camper within minutes. A few of us stayed outside and decided to investigate the situation. I know that sounds stupid, but we just couldn't figure out why no one else in the campground seemed to hear it or care what it was. So, we went walking towards the sound. By now, we had heard it a few more times and it was getting further away. We were just about to ask some people who were all standing around their campfire, what they thought it was, when one of the guys pushes something down into a big 5 gallon bucket and there went the noise again. GRRRRR! We were SO mad! It really was funny though. My sister-in-law was about ready to go and make all of the pranksters come over to our camp and personally apologize to each one of the little kids who were having a hard time getting to sleep now. They all thought that a bear was going to come and eat us.
Here is a slide show of some of us roasting marshmallows, just before this all happened. Notice the picture of Trey picking his nose. The geek!! Also, I just about blinded Troy when I took the picture of him. Oops!

This was just the 1st day of our weekend. We still have 2 more. YAY!
