Spring Break Fun!!

This morning Tyra was begging to make something Eastery for breakfast. My shamrock pancakes didn't turn out that great, so I decided to make french toast and use cookie cutters on them. They turned out much better! The only problem is that I think I have now set a precedent for myself. We will probably be making shaped food for EVERY holiday now!!

TJ wanted a bat with peanut butter on it. He didn't like the taste of the frosting on the egg. Who'd have thought that would happen? He is so picky!

When Tyra picked out her shapes she stayed with the Easter theme which I knew she would. She helped decorate 2 bunnies! Aren't they cute?

Our little guy wanted a dog bone and a dinosaur. He thought it was cool that I was taking pictures, so he wanted to take some pictures of them too!! So, he ran to his room and got out his Nemo camera!

I couldn't possibly waste all of the left overs so daddy and I had french toast for breakfast too. Yum!!!

After our great Easter breakfast, we all got ready and went to Alison's house, (Tommy's sister) to color Easter eggs. Actually, she and I watched all of the episodes of "Dance War" and "America's Best Dance Crew" that she recorded with her Tivo. That's the best way to watch TV. Then you can skip all of the commercials and talking and go right to the dances. Anyway, watching them made me want to get back into dance all over again. I hope so bad that Tyra is good enough and wants to teach when she is older. I think it would be so fun to run a studio with my daughters...(if we have anymore).

Coloring the eggs was lots of fun, but we all got pretty messy. Trey (Alison's son)even took his favorite shirt off so he didn't get it ruined. Some of that dye doesn't come off for anything. Now all our kids, (and me) are going to go to church tomorrow with colored fingers. Here is a slideshow of us coloring eggs:
