Well, after Tyra's scrummy yummy dinner, we all went over to Alison and Troy's house for Family Home Evening. After the song, prayer and story we had a Wii bowling tournament.
These are some of my favorite pictures of the night. Alison's youngest son, Siler, is our ALL TIME CHAMPION!!! She said he beats their whole family everytime they play, and sure enough, he beat everybody again tonight! The funny thing about it, is just watching him bowl, you'd think the ball wouldn't hit any of the pins let alone hit them ALL. Notice how he has a stuffed animal in his hands while he bowls too!
Grandpa Tom was so SERIOUS about the game! He and Grandma Jeanne used to play in a bowling league, back in the day, so they are true experts. Tom did pretty good. He probably would've won had he got a second chance, like the rest of us who hadn't played before. He had to leave early to get some more work done. Grandma Jeanne would have done better too, but Tommy used up half of her turns because he was trying to figure out how to work his SPIN! Isn't she cute?!!
Boy, once Tyra got the hang of it, she was doing almost as good as Siler. Look at that sweet follow through! HA! HA! She is my little dolly!!
Well, since Tyra started doing great and she is the same size as Siler, we all figured that he must win because of his size. So, Tommy tried everything he could to do it like Siler. Then he REALLY started having fun with; behind the back, under the leg and jumping shots, etc. This one was my absolute favorite. I wish so bad I could have got it on video. It's just not the same only being able to see the tail end of it. I DO think it was his best impression of Siler though!
Everybody won candy and prizes for doing such a good job. One of the kids favorite prizes were these goofy teeth!! Say "Cheese!"We didn't keep a REAL accurate count because some people got two turns and what not, but in our tournament of "91 Pin Bowling" these were our scores:
