Just chillin' with Braxton

After I posted my blog about Braxton, we played with his Little People together. He was having so much fun that I decided to take a few pictures. After that we took the dog for a walk, checked the mail and gathered the chicken eggs. Then we collected all of the rotten apples that had fallen off our tree and brought them up for the chickens to eat. Then we picked some of the good apples to eat or dry.

After all of that hard work we swung on the swing set for a while and then Braxton had a green popsicle and I had a pink one. While we were outside eating them, we watched our momma cat, Utah, catch a mouse. I timed her and she played with that poor mouse for 8 minutes before she finally killed it. What is even worse is that she just left it there. Now that they have been cutting grain the mice are getting out of the fields and coming towards our houses. The cats catch so many, that they don't even eat all of them anymore. YUCK!!! I HATE mice!

After that, we came in and let our Cockatiel, Elli, out of his cage and played with him for a while. Then Braxton wanted to put on a show for me, so he turned on our keyboard to the auto play and basically danced and ran around the room for about 10 minutes. At least he wore himself out a little, I think. Then we decided to have a picnic upstairs while we watched "Caillou" together.

Now he is hiding and wanting me to find him, but I think when I do, I am going to go lay down with him until he falls asleep. Then I will go try to plan dinner for tonight. That is my main goal this school year is to start making good dinners all of the time. I guess we will see if that happens soon enough, right? Can you believe we have done all of this and it isn't even 1pm yet? This is the life of staying home with my little guy. Catch ya later!!

Oh, by the way, the little mini recliner chairs in the background are for each of our kids. We have four because my sister-in-law gave me hers about a year ago. I figured that we'd be adopting soon, so I thought it would be cool to have another. So, as for right now, the fourth one is just waiting for a cute little baby bum to fill it up!! We can only hope that will happen soon! Well, time for a nap.

Ben use to follow me around tormenting me. One time I locked myself in the bathroom and Ben sticks his fingers under the door & says "I see you mom, my fingers see you pooping" There is no such thing as privacy!
