In the middle of the night, we got that terrible phone call that no one wants to get. At 1:30 a.m. Tommy's older sister, Crystal, was killed in a car accident. Her little family has gone through so much these past few years that I just don't know how they are going to be able to get through this. My heart is just aching for them.
Tommy and I didn't get back to sleep until after 4 a.m. and for the next few hours, I had dreams about the accident. When I woke up, I was hoping so bad that the whole thing was just a bad dream, but soon realized that it wasn't. I know that this isn't a very happy blog, but it is a really HUGE thing in my life. So, I am sorry to everyone that doesn't want to read it.
Tommy seems to be doing okay, but some of his family members are having a very difficult time. Please keep all of them in your prayers, especially Crystal's five children. The viewing will be from 7-9 p.m. on Monday night and the funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Oh, Lorraine! I am SO sorry to hear this bad news. What a hard phone call to get. Please know your family and Tommy's family are in my prayers.
